It is a space where ambitious projects, cultural events and performances of contemporary art are created and realized. The idea of its creation came from the well-known in the city artist and gallery owner Oles Dzyndra.
The museum is located in the basement of the ancient Bernardine monastery. The monastery itself, which dates back to the middle of the 16th century, was located already outside the old city. It was repeatedly attacked by various enemies and therefore had to be ready to defend itself.
A visit to the gallery gives an opportunity to estimate the depth and dimensions of the cellars in medieval Lviv. At the same time, there are also one of the best Galician restaurants and a shop where you can buy art works.
