Paintings, which present the growth of Ukrainian art culture in XX century, are in the permanent exposition of museum.
Exposition “Ukrainian art of XX century” represents becoming of national fine arts of the modernism period at the wide spectrum of artistic currents and phenomena, reproduces process of Ukrainian art integration in Western European cultural space, and also expresses cultural-artistic processes in the 1940-1970 th, which developed beyond of the frames of the normative aesthetics of social realism.
