In one of the most famous dialogues of Hryhorii Skovoroda, the monkey Pyshek and the stork Erodius reflect on gratitude as the key to life's joy and inner peace. In the play, philosophical texts are intertwined with images from Bosch's paintings, which are present in costumes and projections. This is one of the most visually beautiful performances of the theatre, which has a long history because the first edition of "Grateful Erodius" appeared in the theatre in 1993 and became one of the landmarks in the modern history of Ukrainian theatre.
